Some Special Handouts for Kids (and Adults too)

This week is Vacation Bible School at the Gravel Hill church of Christ.  One thing that makes Gravel Hill unique is that they don’t ever purchase VBS materials–instead, they make their own.  Each teacher creates his/her own curriculum.  This year, Jesse is helping teach, and together, we created several worksheets/handouts for her class (Yes, I drew the pictures below).

These handouts/worksheets are suitable for anywhere from 3rd/4th grade up to adults.  Even if the adults aren’t really into the games or pictures aspect of it, it does help them to remember parts of the Bible lessons, and makes them think.

So, feel free to download them and print them off for your kids, your Bible classes, or yourself!  But please, don’t share them digitally.  If you think they’re worth sharing, please just point people here.  We really appreciate it.  🙂

First, a coloring/memory verse sheet for Daniel 6:22a “My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouth.”

Second, a color sheet of David running with a stone in his sling.

Third, a color sheet of David slinging the stone.

Fourth, a worksheet over the book of Esther, in the style of “Who Am I?” (for example, one of the questions is: “I built a really tall gallows to hang Mordecai from.  Unfortunately, they put me there instead, and now I’m dead.  Who am I?”)

Fifth, a memory verse worksheet for the Parable of the Lost Sheep, done as opposites (look for yourself).
